Roman Cereceres

Solutions oriented, experienced, and professional.

I’m Roman — an IT professional with 12+ years across enterprise support and small-business consulting. I fix the hard problems for people and businesses, and on the side I build and run a self-hosted homelab: Proxmox, dual-GPU LLM inference, and LLM-automated media and voice services.

About

I’ve spent my career making technology work for the people who rely on it — from a pharmacy support platform serving thousands of locations, to GoDaddy’s Office 365 deployments, to the home users and small businesses I consult for directly. What I’m known for is a calm, solutions-first approach: understand the real problem, fix it properly, and leave the person better off than they started.

Off the clock I’m an IT consultant and a homelab tinkerer — the kind who serves their own LLM on two GPUs and automates their music library with agents. That hands-on build-and-run experience is what keeps my consulting practical.

Education: B.S. in Exercise Sciences, Arizona State University, 2014.

The homelab

This is where I build for myself what I’d recommend to a client. A self-hosted stack I design, run, and maintain end to end — the reason my consulting stays grounded in what actually works.

Proxmox cluster

A Proxmox-based cluster running multiple VMs and containers — Docker, self-hosted services, and monitoring — all on my own hardware.

Local LLMs

Running a Qwen 27B model locally on my own hardware with vLLM — high-throughput, low-latency local AI with no cloud dependency.

Unraid NAS & apps

An Unraid server running the homelab’s Docker containers, media and music storage, and self-hosted services — with array health and usage monitored end to end.
